I felt burned when I bought Operation Anchorage so I have yet to buy an expansion since. I do plan to but the inevitable GoTY edition, but will probably get the PC version the second go round.

They changed it %26 although I do like the original 2 better than Fallout 3 you still have to give it credit as being one hell of a great game. As for Point Lookout, it has froze up on me 10+ times, corrupted serveral saves, %26 is basically unplayable until a fix.

Apparently you know nothing of Fallout prior to Fallout 3 as listing the scores has nothing to do with why someone would say Bethesda ruined Fallout. I don't personally agree with that, but can understand why such a comment would be made.

What is everyone crying about. Its a damn game, if you don't like it go somewhere else. No one cares for stupid bickering on the forums, its getting kinda lame. I haven't played any of the other fallouts, but Fallout 3 its self is awesome. Bethesda didn't ruin a thing!
lol at the people saying they never played the original Fallouts but still say F3 is better - how can you possibly say one game is better than another when you never played the other games?



Fallout 3 is a very different experience to the original Fallouts, though I do think Bethesda did a good job of capturing the essence and feel of Fallout while turning it into Oblivion with guns.

It's pretty naive to state that they ruined it because you wanted another game like Fallout 1 and 2.

ive beat point lookout and i thought it was by far the best and worth the price =]

i've played oblivion %26 fallout 3 for hundreds of hours. the ONLY similarity they have is that they're both first person, and have a huge, open world. THATS it.

I did really enjoy it though, I think it may have been the best DLC yet. The only thing I didn't like was that the bruisers and creepers took soooo much damage. I mean the bruiser takes about as much damage as a damn deathclaw. Not that by this point in the game you shouldn't be able to handle those types of characters, it just seemed unbalanced because they were just regular humanoid-type enemies, not anything you would assume would be so hard to kill.edit: Like the Super Mutant Overlords, for example. They can take some serious damage and are hard to kill, but they are large intimidating enemies. The rednecks from Point Lookout did not seem that big or intimidating to be taking that much damage.
