i bought my xbox360 back around the time fight night round 3 was out (that was the game that made jump to next gen)i had xbox live but once i canceld it back in early 2008 i stop playing my xbox360now i am buying all my multiplats on the ps3 so i can play online for freemy xbox has turned into a paper weight/dust collectorsoi just wanted to know who has an xbox360 with out xbox live that still plays itis it worth having an xbox 360 without x ...
Yes...the single player experience on the 360 is very good, with an assortment of games to choose from, I myself tend not to play very much MP games (EXCEPT FOR COD 4, THAT IS ALL LOL) and I still have fun.;)is it worth having an xbox 360 without x ...
Probably people who dont play games online.I have both consoles and prefer my 360 and Live, PSNdoes notprovide the sameuser friendlyfeatures that I have come to love.
It's worth it but if you can get it do it it is worth the $60 a year.
It's still fun without XBL.

Yep.
While I do have xbox live, I spend 95% of my time on single player games. There's lots of great ones out there if you haven't been paying attention; Mass Effect, Fallout 3, Fable 2, Oblivion, Ninja Gaiden 2, just to name a few.
Yes it is, there's quite a few solid SP games on it that you'll enjoy.
the only games am interested in is fallout 3 but want to wait for it become a greatest hist before i buy itand i want to check out alan wake since its looking to become a graphics kingbut other than alan wake am not much of a fan for xbox exclusives (wasa fan of halo 2 but hated 3) and did not like gears 1 or 2
It's still fun without Live.
Xbox live is what keeps me interested in my Xbox 360, without the live you lose about half the content of some games (e.g. Halo 3/Cod).
To be honest, i was expecting to be on XBL endlessly when i first got my 360 and my gold subscription but heh, i'm NEVER online i practically just play offline. So as the others pointed out 360 is great even without XBL.

I have all 3 consoles and an ok Pc gaming rig.I also don't have x-box live, I play x-box exclusives on my x-box rarely buying cross-platform (Inclusing Pc) games for it. I do sometimes buy a month of live for games like GEOW etc etc. But I do, do most of my gaming on PS3.The main reason I don't have live is the lack of Wi-fi as the tv I game on is Nowhere near the ethernet port so it just doesn't seem worth buying for me to use very rarely.
Of course, but online is it funnier, but offline can you clear all your games, so, YES!
Of course, but online is it funnier, but offline can you clear all your games, so, YES!
Why didn't you just say...''the online is more fun'' ?...instead of the ''funnier'' ?
no, not really ....
no, not really ....
Are you speaking for everyone when you say that ?because Fallout 3Mass Effect BioshockDead SpaceOblivionall say you can have fun without live...
it depends because xbox 360 has some very good single player games and i play alot of games offline too but some games i do play online a lot like halo 3 and fifa 09 (for 2 reasons to play agaisnt other ppl and to play ultimate team)
theres enough single player fun to enjoy it without live, but $50/yr is worth it
