Is there much content in BlazBlue?

In BlazdBlue, I'm wondering is there much stuff to do? Like how long does it take to complete the story mode? What other modes are there other than the standard arcade mode and the online multiplayer. Can you unlock characters or costumes or anything like that? Also is the online worth playing for a while? by that I mean are the levels or ranks?
