Ohhhhh Man I am one lucky son of a gun.

Well last night I was at a lan party and was asked to bring my 360 for gaming, but when I got home I got the biggest shock of my life right when I was setting my duffle bag down it tore dropping my 360 on the hard ground below making the faceplate and HDD go flying.I panicked and immediately ran upstairs and plugged it into my TV, no red lights, fans seem to be working, no lagging or any other issues, it's still runs cool, so I am one lucky son of a gun and it was only a 2 foot drop at the most, but damn it scared the crud out of me, and I can't afford a new 360 at this timeframe. Please share your comments, and if you have had any similar incident happen to you please share.Ohhhhh Man I am one lucky son of a gun.
Im not trying to be a jerk, but whats the point?
The point of what? I am just stating that damn I was lucky, it could have been alot worst. then just the faceplate and HDD flying.
Well i can see that your avatar agrees with you..
I had a PSP for a little while, dropped it a couple times before selling it. Each time the battery and battery cover would fly about 10 feet in opposite directions, but the PSP would work just fine.

I drop my Ipod and Cell phone all the time. They have always worked though.
I drop my Ipod and Cell phone all the time. When I got GH3, I wanted to try it out before leaving somewhere. So I hooked it up quickly on the ground. After playing for a bit I got up and kicked the 360 since I'm not used to it being on the floor. It started to make a grinding noise and I panicked and unplugged everything. The disk has a ring around it now and only works sometimes but luckily my 360 was fine.

I'm surprised nothing broke on yours from a 2 foot drop.. I think 360 is a well built system.. it just has disk scratching and overheating problems.
