Why can't I buy BF: 1943 on silver

I just got a 1400 point card only to find that I can't play this damn gamne without a gold account, it says for now but is this permanent?

I have to buy games on a silver account because of region issues, my main account is American since I made it when I was living in America. Why the hell can't I buy whatever I want though, this is so stupid. I need to buy the game on my brothers Canadian silver account to play it on my gold account :(

I can't just buy from my American since Canadian point cards don't work here.

Anyone know if they're gonna open it up to let Silver members buy it or am I going to have to find a 1 month code. God I feel so terrible right now, I wanted to play so bad. :(Why can't I buy BF: 1943 on silver
because its just a online game and you need gold to playWhy can't I buy BF: 1943 on silver
Do you have any of those 48 hour gold trial cards you can make your silver account into a gold account? After the 48 hours it just expires and goes back to silver, but it allows you to dowload the game.
They might have done it so people that only have a silver account wont accidentally buy it to find out that the only thing they can play is a tutorial.

The only thing I know that does it is GTA IV cards but I used mine up

I am so down right now, I'm a huge Battlefield fan and I don't know what to do
it's an online multiplayer game only... there is no single player campaign or anything like that. It's a good thing that MS restricted silver members from buying it, otherwise they would have wasted their money.

Looks like you don't have any choice but to follow Microsoft's backward ways.
