No I dont use a mod.

Anyone else have this problem? Everyday I play call of duty 4 online I get at least 5 different people accusing me of having a modded controller...every day. I am getting really annoyed with this. Sure I can shoot a pistol or a gun fast...so that automatically means I have a mod? Do people ever take into consideration that someone might have skill? I have never used a modded controller EVER, and I never will, I consider it cheating and I think people should be banned for using one.No I dont use a mod.
You modder! Your lieing! Cheater! No I dont use a mod.

You are so FUNNY
Them saying you cheat is just an easy way to avoid the fact that you killed them. For some reason people think they can't die unless the person killing them is cheating or got ''lucky,'' What happened to saying good game and enjoying a challenge? Now games are just about ''pwning da nubs.''

Well said
Do they still even make controllers with the turbo function on them? Last system I remember them being on was the snes and genesis.
poor you man.

I believe in you.
Your skilled because you pull a trigger fast lol anyway this happens a lot.
i shoot relatively fast too, but not so much where people accuse me of cheating. a sure fire way of telling if someone is cheating with a modded controller is that if theyre using a G3 and when they shoot it sounds exactly like the G36, then theyre most likely cheating. because the G3 only sounds like that when its on full auto. of course i dont go around accusing people of having modded controllers, if they cant shoot fast enough without a mod then oh well, good for them for ruining their controller hah.

My friend has a modded controller. Personally I don't get it.I enjoy games like COD or Halo but if it means I have to cheat to be considered good I'll just go play some Mass Effect or Fallout and be all chill.

Yeah they do anything rapid button such as Track and Field is flooded with them. Games like CoD have basically the same thing only the triggers work as a turbo also.
The Modd'ed Controllers are out of control now and with theConrollers working onCoD4 and WaW it's bad,it's the Auto-Aim they have that gets to me, how fast you can shoot has little meaning to my because i shoot fast myself.
It is easy to tell a cheat. When a player empties a DE clip and there is only one kickback animation, that's a mod. Even if you tap the button rapidly, the rate of fire doesn't out pace the animations. Only a modded controller will do that. At this point, I am good enough for people using modded contollers not to adversly affect me and my performance or enjoyment of the game, it is just an annoyance. Especially when I see someone running around with a G3 or M4 and modded controller, yet they are sitting in the middle to bottom of the leaderboard.
happened to me a couple times when i was playing cod4, especially when using the desert eagleidk if its a coincidence or what, but everytime i was excused of modding, the excuser was a dumb (if you heard their insults, youd agree) rednecknow i gotta hear some special ed dropout ***** up a storm because i make him feel inadequate

You can actually mod your own controller, we are not talking about controllers you buy in the store.
I just mute everyone before the game starts so I never have to listen to people

It's because when you play a shooter online there are only 2 types of people:

n00bs - people you kill

modders/hackers - people that killed you - after all they couldn't possibly have killed you any other way as they don't have the skill

:P
Yup, whenever I'm the last person alive in Search and destory I usually shoot off my pistol really fast, it's extremely easy to empty the clip in one second or less. Then when the rounds over everybody complains about my ''modded controller''.

I'll ask him what's wrong and he'll just tell me everyone on the opposite team must be modding.. MUST BE!
