Xbox Hard drive questions

Hello guys.

I know that some people probably already asked this, but I can't seem to find a decent answer, after a while googling for it.

So I have 2 questions :

I know this might sounds lame/noob, but : I have an Xbox I bought from a friend, but there isn't a hard drive in it.

1. I already have 2 external HDD 's, is there a way to use 'em as additional storage? Like, I know I can use my external hard drive to listen to music, or movies on my xbox, but can I save Xbox live games updates on this hard drive? If yes, does it have to be formatted a different file system than NTFS?

2. If the Xbox I had didn't have a hard drive ''inside the box'', can I buy an Xbox hard drive, or there isn't a slot for it?

I may look noob, asking question #2, but I can't find the slot for an HDD on my Xbox(except the USB ones) so I wanted to make sure before to buy one...

If anybody has a good site that explains all you can use as Xbox storage, it would be awesome to point it to me.

Thanks!

No, you cannot use an external HDD for storage for game saves or anything of that matter. Yes, you can buy an Xbox 360 HDD and it attaches to the top of the Xbox 360.Xbox Hard drive questions
Thanks.
