Would this help or hurt?

I want to put a small AC fan on the right side of my Xbox (Like a few inches away) to keep it cool and not get RRoD, But would this hurt my Xbox? Would it like, Make it hotter somehow or something? ThanksWould this help or hurt?

Be sure there isn't any dust on the fan before you turn it on.

Whatever you do, avoid positioning the fan directly behind your 360.
