resident evil on xbl arcade!!!

i looked through xbox live arcade and i could not find resident evil 1 on there, you would think they would put it there but they don't. who else thinks they should have it i never played it so i don't know if it would be any good but the 5th one wasresident evil on xbl arcade!!!
I agree. It would be awsome to have this on XBL.resident evil on xbl arcade!!!
i myself only liked RE5 and RE4. i didnt like the other games camera angles. if they put RE 4 on there i would buy it :P
The only one I would buy is RE4...just think someday in 2020 games like RE5 and Gears of War 2 will be on some arcade for $10 lol.
For the most part I prefer REmake over the original, but I'd still buy it just for old times sake and for the hilarious dialogue.
Would be good, as I really enjoyed RE1 on ps1 back in the day. But I would preffer Resident Evil2 instead, part 2 is my fav of the series (next best would be 5 and 1, with RE4 being the worst, imo).

You sir, have just blown my mind.
That would be pretty awesome I would buy that even if it cost 1200 microsoft points but the whole 1600 would be pushin it.

Nah not for me! If it was the original RE game that were on the Saturn i would easily shell out 2400 MSP!!! ^^

I liked all of them since the beginning, but you speak the truth. Once you've played 4 and 5 it's really difficult to want to go back the originals.
Yeah, I'd enjoy having the first one on.
I mean, there is refrences of the first games story in RE5, so it'd make tons of sense.

I am the opposite. I liked the original control and camera because it made it more suspenseful not knowing what was at the other end of the room. I see why ppl hated it but I enjoyed it.

I wouldnt mind the gamecube directors cuts of the games
Jill Sandwich!
I've been saying for a long time now that it would make a lot of sense to get the remake of Resident Evil on GC/Wii onto XBL. Just an fyi to the thread creator, you are asking a question, not making an announcement. Having a question mark on your thread title will help avoid confusion.
it would be kinda cool, but sorry kids. It won't happen anytime soon.... BUT some of you already know that you can get RE Directors Cut on the playstation network. Resident Evil Directors cut will be a Playstation store exlusive (for a while i'm guessing). The cool thing is you can download RE to the ps3 and/or psp. and it's only 9.99. MS would charge like $15 or 20 i bet. and i think Resident Evil doesn't really fit the title ''arcade game'', and since it was never on the Xbox, it cant be an ''xbox original''...........edit:also i thought id mention that you will probably NEVER see a nintendo game on xblive arcade. that would just never make sense for nintendo to do. why sell games to MS and let them sell them to somebody else, when you have your own online marketplace for your games? Sega games are everywhere, but thats because Sega failed and doesnt have their own (current gen) console anymore.
Resident Evil 2 would be better, that would be sweet.
While that game was great, it would be a pixelated nightmare on my 32 inch HDtv, as well as all the other RE games below RE4.
